This 2-hour session covers my full process for taking a client’s brief for a new logo, designing the logo, and crafting that first client presentation.
This is a behind-the-scenes look into how I turn my sketches into a vector format using Adobe Illustrator, building some mockups for the client using Adobe Photoshop, before finally opening up Adobe InDesign to work up that first client presentation.
This session uses a real client example, so you’ll experience first-hand how I work with real clients, and how I'm able to get to a final logo that both myself and the client are proud of.
This session was recorded live in April 2024, so there are questions from the audience as I go through. But if you have any specific queries, just drop me a line and I'll do my best to answer.
Topics covered:
- Assessing a client brief and determining the right course of action
- Writing a success statement and brand nouns
- Quick and dirty sketches
- Ideation in Adobe Illustrator
- Refining and perfecting your vector illustration
- Using CC libraries to build the first presentation in Adobe InDesign
N.B. This is a recording of a live session with with Skillshare. Questions were fielded to me during the stream, along with a Q&A session at the end. This video is NOT live.
